Decided tonight to go "fuck it" and watch Tampopo for the 100th time. I adore that movie; literally every second of it is wonderful.

However, I now know that I am attracted to Yakusho Kouji. I mean, I've always known that, on some level, but seeing him again as sexy yakuza just made it very apparent.

Should probably go to bed.

Now that I'm back in my apartment, nice and warm and dry and no longer hunched over my steering wheel on the highway, trying not to think 人生は不確実なこと。。。もろくていつでも切れちゃうかもしれない, I can now sit back, relax, and enjoy the thunderstorm.

Saw "The Expendables" today and it was pretty cool.

Also watched "Sansho the Bailiff" which was really awesome. I mean, orphans and escaping from slavery and depressing deathbed goodbyes? HELLS YES! That is my SHIT!

Someday I'll be rich enough to just buy every DVD I want to own.

When we came in last night, I'm almost entirely certain I saw a mouse. It's down on the first floor where about five people own cats, but even so, vermin have a tendency to swarm and I'd rather not have to lose perfectly good loaves of bread to them.
